This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev Prophet Sunday. V. O Okpere at the grand-finale of 2026 Teenagers/Children 3days convention with the Theme: RAISING A KINGDOM CHILD. (Matthew 18:1–5), held at the Headquarters of Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Benin City. He Urged Christian Parents to be committed in raising their children with Christlike virtues than building them up with materialistic consciousness. Noting that, Parents are to teach their children how to be morally disciplined. Money can buy a beautiful house, but it can not make it a lovely home. Money can buy the finest Education but it cannot teach wisdom, money he said, can buy comfort but cannot buy character. That’s why the greatest inheritance a parent can leaves behind is not wealth but values. He tasked Parents to teach their children how to promote love and brotherly kindness without sentiments. He Supported his assertion with the Scriptures he took in Proverbs 22:6-8. Matthew 18:1-5, Mark 3:31-35, John 13:35. The Spiritual Leader said, that’s why Parent must discipline themselves because their Children are coping what they see in them. May God bless Parents with Wisdom, who raised a Child to be a blessing to the World. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
