Put what the scripture says into practice

This was the sermon delivered on Sunday by Rev Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP during 2025 Festival of nine lessons and Carols with the Presentation of Christmas gifts to Widows at Headquarters of Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Benin City. Noting that, what Christmas mean is the Practical demonstrations of Jesus Christ Mission to the World by those who believed in Him and promoting His Love by sharing with the widows and the fatherless. He Urged those who believes in Jesus Christ to use the seasons to win more Souls to His Kingdom, and said, the World is tired of halfbaked Preachers that cannot practice what they are preaching, and noted that, what the World needs are evidence of what the Scriptures says in Practical demonstration. He supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Joshua 1:8–9. Matthew 2:1–12, Matthew 21:12 & 13, Acts 11:26, James 1:27, He noted that, Jesus is not interested in extravagance celebration, but how many souls you have converted into His Kingdom. He admonished the congregation to ensure they are in Church this Thursday 25th December, which is the reasons for the Seasons.

Highlights of the service includes: prophetic declarations of peaceful celebrations for as many that will travel during this season. Special Carols renditions by the Choristers with selected lessons read by selected readers. Arrival of Santa Claus with more than enough gifts, to spice up the festiver. Dance with the widows and presentation of Christmas gifts to them by the Spiritual Leaders and refreshments with choice meals, bring the Service to a closed.
