Men ought to always pray and not faint 5
This was the sermon preached on Sunday during the opening service of 30days Concealment Camp Prayer and Fasting with four sessions of intercessions in 24hours, by Rev Prophet Sunday. V. O Okpere, at the headquarters of Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Benin City. He defined Concealment to be synonymous to importunity in Prayers which’s the season of the shameless persistent and urgent pleadings with God for a need, marked by a refusal to give up even when the answers are delayed. Rooted in the Parables of the persistent friend and the unjust Judge, even Jacob’s encounters with an Angel which eventually Changed his name from Jacob to Israel, also signifies intense faith-filled, and desperate asking that demonstrates deep reliance on God’s Character. He supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in Genesis 32:22-30, Luke 11:5–13 and Luke 18:1–8, He enjoined his Congregation especially those who want to join in the program to take to the Commands of Our Lord Jesus Christ and resolve to always pray and not to Faint and maintain a consistent, Persistent life of Prayer to avoid losing heart, becoming weary, or quitting. And to understand that Prayer is the antidote to discouragements and essential for Spiritual endurance.
