This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere JP at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. As the world warns up to disembark from the terrifying year 2024, and looks forward to a new 2025 which is just few days ahead, the Spiritual Leader has admonished Nigerians irrespective of religious beliefs to do a thorough check on the company they keep as friends and follow only those who will help them program their new journey for a new dispensation of living. He noted that, there are some characters flaws they should look out for, and ensure they do not keep such people who don’t like what is good in their lives and avoid them.
Prophet Sunday Okpere supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Proverbs 1:10–19, Proverbs 22:24 & 25, Proverbs 27:17 & 18 and Luke 7:1–10, He said, building a productive Nation can only be possible with those who follow people with fore-sight and visions as their mental Pictures of a preferable future of the Nation that can secure her citizens and are productive without dependence on palliative from the government or individuals. He noted that, the Biblical centurion has a godly character, hence he loves the Israelites Nation which was far from his religious beliefs and built a Church for them and submitted to God, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, hence Jesus regarded as the man whose faith was the greatest among all those who professed any religion on Earth.
