Attitude of Gratitude (Season 2)
This was the sermon preached on Sunday by Rev Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP, at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L headquarters Benin City. He admonished the congregation to be excited with whatever they have and be grateful to God Almighty. Noting that an ungrateful person is a great fool. He said, attitude of gratitude is a formula that can move God from His throne to bless and promotes those who are grateful with whatever they have received from God. The Prophet stated that, there is nothing we have without God, which makes offerings of great sacrifices to be an application to God for more breakthroughs.
Prophet Sunday Okpere supported his assertions with the Scripture he took 1st Kings 8:62–66, Psalms 50:14 & 15, Proverbs 3:7–10,and Luke 21:1–4, noted that, God shows great mercies upon whoever that comes to Him and shows gratitude. He enjoined Parents to train up their children how to always appreciate God and humanity for whatever they have benefited from God and humanity, and charged believers in Christ to be positive thinkers in appreciating one another with their conversation be without covetousness, but to be satisfied with whatever they have.
Highlights of the service was Prophetic declarations for peace in Edo state. Deliverance Prayers declarations led by one of the officiating ministers.
