This was the sermon Preached at the second Sunday of Deliverance Holy Mission 2026 Covenant Sundays by Rev Prophet Dr Sunday V. O Okpere JP on Sunday, at the headquarters of Deliverance Holy mission Int’L. Benin City. He urged Believers in Christ to seek first God’s Kingdom irrespective of their daily pursuits and obey the Call of our Lord Jesus Christ and allow GOD Almighty to fight the seen and unseen battles in our Lands. Noting that, Jesus Christ did not forbid thinking about necessities of life, neither did He teaches that planning for the further is wrong. Instead, He condemned Worldly anxieties that distracts from true priorities, yet fills us with about the unknown future. He supported his assertion with the scripture he took in 2nd Chronicles 7:11-14, Psalms 34:15–19, and Matthew 6:25–34. He noted that Jesus invites you to come and Spend your life time pursuing things of eternal value, making God a priority in all your seek in this New Year. And said, we cannot help ourselves with many of the things we worry about. He admonished the religious leaders to humble themselves, and Pray, and seek the face of the LORD to intervene in the Challenges in our Land, He will hear our Cry and deliver us and heal our Land.
