While men slept
This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP where he enjoined Parents to be concerned about their Children’s Moral disciplines than to entrust them to their teachers and careers. The tasked was given during the fourth Sunday of Parents Praying and anointing of their children at the headquarters of Deliverance Holy mission Int’L Benin City. He noted that a Child without boundaries will test everything includes: testing of time, testing of the truth, above all, testing of how far they can go, which is the reasons for the moral decadence and law breakers that has bedevils the body polity of our State in particular and our Country in general. He called on the Parents to wake up from their slumbers. He buttressed his assertion with the scripture he took in Jeremiah 35:1–10, Matthew 13:24–30, 1st Peter 5:5-11, And said, it’s not modern Parenting to allow children go the way they likes.
The Spiritual leader said, praying and anointing of children is good but, moral discipline and coaching of Children will promote the values in their characters. He admonished the Children to submit themselves to the elders and Value their God’s given lives as to enjoys what God has destined for them.
