The Living Sacrifice
This was the message Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V . O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance holy mission Int’L Inc. Headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation during the Special thanksgiving by Church, for God’s divine Grace upon the life of the Prophet, Charged believers in Christ Jesus to live in Christ like virtues by giving themselves fully to the service of God and humanity, taking the work of God zealously and as number one. Noting that what has affected the body of Christ is that, most religious leaders takes joy in taking from their congregations, except very few that cares, and promote brotherly kindness to their host communities.
Prophet Sunday Okpere while emphasizing his assertion taken support from the book of Matthew 16:24–27, Luke 9:57–62, Romans 12:1–3, Ephesians 2:10, and James 1:26–27, Admonished Christian Leaders to avoid the temptations of mixing up their Spiritual lives with materialism which seems to be competitive in the body of Christ. He noted that, what Christmas means to believers in Christ is to replicate the Love of God to humanity by sharing with fatherless and widowers in their affliction and to keep oneself different from the World.
