The blessings and the blesser (Season 2)
This was the message preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Inc Headquarters. Benin City. He urged believers in Christ to understand the importance of those who are called by God to always renew their Covenant from time to time until they become the friend of God. He noted that very many people who are professing Christianity across the World trivializes their services to The Blesser and are concerned about their blessings which is their personal needs instead of honoring the invitation to the Lord’s banquet, but are in the church for one reason or the other.
Prophet Sunday Okpere who supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Matthew 11:28–30, Matthew 16:13-19, Matthew 22:1–14, Romans 8:28–31,Noted that the Church is suffering less than expected due to how many Christian leaders programmed their worship to depend on man instead of God. The prophet said, when you serve God who is your Blesser, all things become possible. He said,the day Christians realize that what they will become is not by strength or connections nor certification but by God who blesses man and add no sorrow, that is when they will begin to do the impossible things in their lives.
Highlights of the service includes: prophetic declarations for peace and reconciliations in our Nation especially in Edo state as elections of who becomes the next governor is heating up everywhere. Meanwhile the DHM 2024 Choir programs with the Theme: MY MOUTH WILL SPEAK OF PRAISES OF THE LORD (Psalm 145:21) will come up with Praise night this Friday 23rd February, beginning from 9pm, while Sunday 25th will be Hannah’s Praises of thanksgiving to God. Sixth Sunday covenant Prayers led by one of the officiating ministers, and Choir Special renditions brings the service to a closed.
