The battle is the Lords (season 1)
This was the sermon preached on Sunday by Rev Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP at headquarters of deliverance holy mission Int’L Benin City. Addressing the congregation during the grand-finale of Seventh Sundays Covenant Prayer declarations, he called on all believers in Jesus Christ to have a good and sincere relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ without distraction. Noting that whoever that want to finish well and finish strong, must have a significant relationship with others and work to impact other’s lives. most importantly, have a clear conscience to serve God, if necessary write a code of conduct that maximize their daily activities.
He supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Proverbs 4:20–22, Isaiah 58:1-14, and Luke 14:25–27. Noted that if we really want the life and healing that God promises, we must not let His wise Words slip away. Because if we lose sight of God’s words it’s worse than, if we had never received it. He admonished the congregation to abide in God’s Word and allow it to penetrate into their hearts deeply and put them into actions all the things they have heard God says.
