Take your battles to the Lord in Prayers (Season 4)

This was the sermon delivered on Sunday by Rev prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. He tasked Nigerians irrespective of tribes, Religion or Political Affiliations to watch their steps, activities and actions in handling disputes but, to think on how the hard earn democracy that’s over twenty five years today, will deliver the dividends, or if we are moving forward or backwards then, follow the path that will benefit our citizens fast before it goes out of hands. The Spiritual Leader who is leading the mission on 21days of Liberation camp Prayer and fasting since on the first of October, Lamented on the ignorance of those who are supporting the bad governance instead of thinking of the Country that can accommodate and cares for her citizens.

Prophet Sunday Okpere supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in Nehemiah 2:15–18, Proverbs 29:1–20, James 4:13–17 Admonished Religious leaders to totally separate themselves from Politicking and allow the antecedents speak for every aspirant. He noted that, Religious sentiments is one of the reasons the nation Is backward, and this has deprived people with merit to govern the nation. in all facets of the government offices. The Prophet concluded that the nation’s elections have either been in the Favour of those available to share without the interest of the electorate or good governance.
