Submit To God (Season 1)
This was the message preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V . O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance holy mission Int’L Inc headquarters Benin City. where he admonished the congregation to submit to God Almighty in all ramifications if they want God to be in total control of their lives. He noted that, submission is different from cooperation. Cooperation, the Prophet said, is when you work together with someone to achieve a mutually desired goal, while Submission on the other hand, is when you want something totally different from the other fellow wants, but because you have to Submit, you do what he or she asks you to do.
Prophet Sunday Okpere who supported his assertion with the scripture he took in 2nd Kings 2:1–15. Matthew 8:5–13, Luke 5:1-11, 2nd Corinthians 10:5-7, tasked believers in Christ to pursue the blesser rather than the blessings and said, reasons why there are more women and Children in the church of today, could be that, most men’s quest for material things together with Worldly titles more than the women and the children,without knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain.
