Submit to God (part 2)
Rev. Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP has called on believers in Christ Jesus to Submit to God who is the Blesser more than the Blessings, the Sermon was delivered on Sunday at the headquarters of Deliverance Holy mission Int’L Benin City. He noted that, there are millions of self professing Christians around the World today who prioritize God’s blessings above the one who blessed them in the first place. Noting that when you begin to Choose your job over God, you are prioritizing the blessings over the Blesser. He lamented on how many believers have lost their quest for salvation and runs after titles, and material possessions, instead of seeking God first and His righteousness which is the commission for as many that received Him and gets God’s divine additions they now seeking the blessings hence many lost their blessing seats which is the God’s commission. He buttressed his assertion with the scripture he took in Deuteronomy 8:11–20, Matthew 6:24–34, and Luke 12:15, Noted that the unfortunate thing about prioritizing the blessings over the Blesser is that the Blesser can withdraw His blessings anytime He wishes. The clergy has admonished the congregation to learn from the statements of Our Lord Jesus to his disciples when he said, there’s no man that hath left his house or brethren, or sisters, or or fathers, or mothers, or wife or Children or Lands for my sake or the sake of the gospel, that will not gain more than hundredfolds and also gain eternal life. He tasked all who believers in Jesus Christ to Submit to God only.
