Submit to God
This was the sermons preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere JP at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation during the third Sunday of Covenant prayers, Noted that the only sure way to overcome great difficulties of lives and grow Spiritually is when we submit to God in everything and put the Almighty God first in whatever we are doing. He said, submission is not the same as cooperations, the Prophet stated that submission is when you want something totally different from what other fellow want, but you have to submit and do whatever he or she asks you to do, he added that, the one who is submitted to God is the fellow who do whatever God says, weather is logical or not convenient.
He supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in Exodus 17:11–16, Matthew 8:5–13, and Ephesians 5:22–26 Noting that those who trust in God and believes in the benefits of submission are those who always says, if this is what God says, that is what I will do. The Clerics said, the devil knows those who are hundred percent submissive to God, hence when you begin to resist him, he flee. He admonished the congregation to submit to God in everything and enjoys the benefits of submission.
