Spiritual Growth

Rev Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere has called on Believers in Christ Jesus to be committed and focus on their relationship with God which is the key for Spiritual Growth. The call was made on Sunday during the second Covenant Sunday prayers at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L headquarters Benin city. He noted that, Spiritual growth is the Process of becoming more aware of one’s inner self, exploring the deeper meaning of life, and connecting with something greater than oneself. The type of connection could be with the divine, nature, or one’s higher self. Prophet Sunday Okpere supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Proverbs 30:5, John 5:39, 2nd Timothy 2:15 & 16, and 2nd Timothy 3:16 & 17, He noted that, there are some people who do not believe certain portions of the Bible. , while others made doctrines of some of the Scripture abandoning others. The Cleric cautioned such people to be wise because every Word of God is pure and relevant, each Word he said, has the ability to produce results if applied in Faith.

Highlights of the service includes: prophetic declarations for peace in Edo State despite the Political turmoil that’s treating the peace in the State. Special thanksgiving by Edorodion Social club led by Pastor Samuel Okungbowa for God’s protection in their lives in 2024, Covenant Prayers declarations led by one of the officiating ministers, dedication of a baby girl by the family of Queen Egboh, and Choirs Special renditions, brings the service to a closed.
