Remember your first love

This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere JP at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation at the last Sunday of 2024, urged Nigerians irrespective of religion, Political or tribal extractions, to be passionate about our Nation Nigeria and remember our first Love we have for the Country before activities in our hard earned Nation was turned into commercial values. The Spiritual Leader lamented on how the country has been sold cheap for survival of the fittest . He noted that Democracy which supposed to be government of the people for the people by the people has lost it’s values as it’s now based on cash and carry business, The Prophet said, until the Nation is fully independent, there will be no good governance.

He supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Ezekiel 18:21–24, Romans 8:28–39. and Revolution 2:4 & 5, Noted that, the nation’s elections have either been in the FAVOUR of those available to share without the interest of the electorates or good governance. Hence we are where we are till this day, and said Nigeria need to reformat her ideas , if she must have good governance. Let us remember our first love. “THOUGH TRIBES AND TONGUES MAY DIFFER” Let’s stand in BROTHERHOOD.
