DHM 2024 Founder’s Week
Deliverance Holy Mission 2024 founder’s week ends on Saturday with glorious 67th birthday celebration of the founder Rev. prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere (JP). Addressing the well attended ceremony, the guests Speaker Bishop Olu Akintan Preached more on the Steeling characters of Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) whom he knows as the Father of Prophets since over 24years. Noting that, Prophet Okpere he said, is one of the few Clerics who never masqueraded himself, but preaches what he practices and remains humble, unassuming personality, unlike the Biblical Joseph, Bishop Akintan said, Prophet Okpere can sacrifice his comfort for the rescue of others without sentiments.
At his thanksgiving service, Prophet Sunday Okpere admonished Christian Leaders to always avoid the temptation of mixing up their Spiritual lives with materialism which seems to be competitive in the Body of Christ. He noted that, as Jesus Christ is the legacy of God on Earth, so also Believers in Christ Jesus ought to be Christ Legacy wherever they go. He supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in Matthew 13:24–30, Luke 2:1–7, and 2nd Corinthians 9:11–15, noted that the pages of yesterday cannot be reversed, but the pages of tomorrow are blank and you hold the pen. He admonished the congregation to promote brotherly kindness among their neighborhood without sentiments, which he said is the character of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Highlights of the service includes: Prophetic declarations for peace to reign in Edo State as the campaign for who becomes the next governor of Edo State is on going. Youth Ambassadors led by the president and coordinators rendered special birthday presents to the celebrant, Special thanksgiving by the congregation for Successful 2024 founder’s week and 67th birthday celebration, prayers for the congregation with special renditions by the Choristers brings the Service to a closed.
