The weeklong founder’s week of Deliverance Holy mission to mark the 68th birthday of the Spiritual Leader climax with various activities on Sunday at the headquarters in Benin City. The guest speaker, Apostle Femi Samson Enweliku challenged Believers in Christ to build their spiritual life which he said, is the foundation of success in one’s life. Delivery his sermon entitled, Grace for success, enjoined believers to cultivate the habit of celebrating grace rather than fighting a man who carries grace. He highlights some qualities he observed in the life of Rev. Prophet S. V. O Okpere that makes him to be the Elisha of this generation He has made great impact on mankind. He called on the congregation to always spread positivity of the ministry no matter their present situation. The main scriptural Reading was taken from Exodus 17:11–16, Job 36:11, Isaiah 58:12, and Acts 5:35–41. In appreciation to all who made this year’s 68 birthday celebration great, the celebrant Prophet Sunday Okpere told the congregation, that God has given him power to preach the gospel, honoring the date of his birth, is not just a social ceremony but, an opportunity to appreciate God Almighty for the gift of life and opportunity given to Him to serve in His Vineyard.
Highlights of the service includes: prophetic declarations for God’s divine mercies up our land, for peace in Edo State. Ordination of Faithful members into the offices of, Spencer Oseiwe Okpere as Pastor, Joseph Yusuf Erhasie and Vincent Aiyanyor as Deacon, Victoria Ehiamhen as Deaconess, and Comfort Idehen as elder. While Gospel Teacher Rhoda Osaro Edokpolor was elevated and ordained as Evangelist. Special thanksgiving by the celebrant and his family, and certificates given to those who were baptized on Saturday 17th may called the service to a closed.
