Child of Destiny
Parents has been tasked to train up their children in the way of the Lord for them to realize their destiny and focus on how to build on it. The assertion was given on Sunday during the grand-finale of the two days children/teenager’s conference with the Theme: CHILD OF DESTINY by the Children Pastor Gospel Teacher Sunday Osagie at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation the Spiritual Leader, Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) lamented on how most parents has abandoned their children in pursuit of business, leaving them at the mercies of the teachers who are working for their pay, and are not mindful of good morals up bringing, he said that any Parent, who failed to command their children for good moral up bringing, the children will commit them into eternal sorrow and regrets.
He noted, that parents whose Children are in prisons are more in prison than those children. Prophet Okpere supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in 1st Samuel 2:1–8, Proverbs 22:6, Jeremiah 1:4–10 and Mark 10:13–16. Enjoined the Children/Teenagers to serve God with sincerity of their hearts, and to always do thorough Check on the company they keep. Noting that a friend of the rich person is not a rich person, but, a friend of Armed Robbers is labeled as an armed Robber. And remarked that, thirty years old person is regarded as matured, but, when a person died at thirty is regarded as premature death.
Highlights of the service includes: Prophetic declarations for peace and the will of God to prevail in Edo state, Deliverance Prayers declarations led by one of the officiating ministers. Children/Teenagers Special renditions and harvest presentations to the Altar of God. Meanwhile: the annual harvest thanksgiving of DHM Victory Chapel at #13, Unity Street, by first upstairs Agbor road Ohovbe quarter Benin City, will hold this Sunday 3rd November by 10am the host Pastor Alex Otiku has invited believers in Christ and friends of DHM to join our father and mother in the Lord at the auspicious event.
