Buried Talent
This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. He lamented over the act of ignorance in the Youths of this age in the name of social living, that leads many to their early grave in the process, while, some died in the wilderness. Majority of them becomes streets boys and girls, armed robbers, kidnappers etc. He stated that those who died at their prime ages without evidence of how they lived, are those who buried their talents. He supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in (Proverbs 18:16, Hosea 4:6, and Matthew 25:14–30,) Said, Talent which is the inherent ability to do what others find difficult to do, needs to be treasured passionately by those who has discovered it.
He enjoined the Youths to sort for where their talents will be useful and invest in it for the benefit of their generations.
