Buried Talent (Season 2)

This was the sermon preached on Sunday at the grand finale of DHM 3days 2024 Youths conference, by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation, He enjoined the Youths to be the model of what they represent and workout their visions that will take them to the Platform of a reference points among their equals, and avoid the temptation of keeping companies with the vision destroyers.

The Prophet, put them in remembrance to understand that only iron can sharpened iron not wrong emulation which has dominated the lifestyles of the youths of this generation. Noting that Talent is the inherent ability to do what others cannot do with ease, needs to be profiles only where it can be considered valuable. He supported his assertion with the Scripture he took in Proverbs 18:16, Habakkuk 2:1–3, and Matthew 13:24–30. Tasked the Youths to work on their Talent, believe in their selves, then take a step and from there they will advance from one stage to another. He admonished believers in Christ, especially the Christian Youths to avoid the temptation of burying their Talents.
