Be an example others will follow
This was the message Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr S. V. O Okpere (JP) at deliverance holy mission Int’L Inc headquarters Benin City. Addressing the congregation at the second Sunday Covenant Prayers, enjoined Believers in Christ to live the lives that will attract unbelievers to the Body of Christ, by promoting brotherly kindness to their neighborhood without sentiments which is the attitudes of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the early disciples. Noting that, Love works like magnet, since everyone wants to be loved, when Christians loves one another, whoever that sees them will want to join them, because everyone is looking for love.
Prophet Sunday Okpere who Supported his assertion with the scripture he took in Deuteronomy 28:1–7, Mark 3:31-35, John 13:34 & 35, John 15:12–17, Said, Jesus shared a big secrets to Loving themselves to His disciples, which He said is the secret to winning more Souls for Him. The Cleric said, enemies hates those who are in Love, hence they want to do everything possible to put confessions in the midst of those who Love one another. He admonished believers in Christ to be watchful as to identify the strategies of the devil, and build good relationships that will dislodge the devil and his cohorts to where they belong. He noted that, the devil doesn’t appears as enemies but, can use tale-bearer and back-bitter or critics to cause the love in the Church or your working environment to fade away.
Highlights of the service include prophetic declarations of peace and genuine reconciliation in our country especially in Edo state as drums of election is beating around the State. Second Sunday covenant Prayers led by one of the officiating ministers. Meanwhile covenant weeks of prayers continue till Sunday 18th February 2024.
