Attitude of Gratitude (Season 2)
This was the message preached on Sunday by Rev. prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere (JP) at Deliverance Holy mission Int’l Inc headquarters Benin City. He admonished the congregation to be excited with whatever they have and be grateful to God Almighty. Noting that attitude of gratitude is a formula that can move God from His throne to bless and promote those who are grateful with wherever they are and whatever they have received from God. Knowing that it is not by their own power but God. By such attitude, God can give them more opportunities to greater blessings.
He supported his admonition with the Scripture he took in 1st Kings 8:62–66, Luke 17:11–19, Luke 21:1–4. And noted that, God Shows greater mercies to those who come to Him and show gratitude. The Prophet has enjoined parents to train up their children to always appreciates God and humanity in whatever they have as benefits from God. And charged them to be Positive thinkers who appreciates one another with their conversations without covetousness, but be satisfied with whatever they have. Which the Clerics said, God will not leave His faithful servants nor forsake them.
Highlights of the service was Prophetic declarations for God’s will to be done in Our Nation Nigeria. Special Prayers and birthday wishes to Edo State governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki on his 66th birthday. Testimonies from the just concluded mass-deliverance. With the mid-year Special thanksgiving presentations to the Altar of God led by the first family of the church. Prayer for new Month brought the service to a close.
