Attitude of Gratitude (Season 1)
This was the sermon Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere JP at Deliverance Holy Mission Int’L Headquarters Benin City. He enjoined believers in Christ to cultivate the attitudes for gratitudes to God especially for the gift of lives they are enjoying from their creator, and also to those who has assisted them in lives. He noted that, the secret of greatness is in your willingness to show gratitude to God and humanity without Seasons. He admonished the congregation to always give worthy sacrifices for His awesome power that did not allow us to disappear since the beginning of the year 2024, despite the happenings that claimed many lives.
Prophet Sunday Sunday Okpere supported his message with the Scripture he took in Psalm 116:12–14,Malachi 1:8, Luke 17:11–19, 2nd Thessalonians 2:13–17 Noted that, whenever we stand before the Altar of God to give thanks, we should think of worthy and heart touching offerings, because whatever we give to appreciate God represent the values we have for Him, hence there is needs to plan ahead for it. And said, surviving to see new day is more than enough reasons to give Him thanks. Most importantly, we are thanking God for several ways He fought our unseen battles for us and our families.
Highlights of the service was Prophetic declarations for God’s intervention for Peace in Edo state. Deliverance Prayers declarations led by one of the officiating ministers, Special thanksgiving presentations by the Children of Late Vero Ilenlo Donald for the successful burial of their mother last week. Meanwhile the 2024 nine lessons and carols with the Theme: “WHEN YOUR STARS APPEAR, WISE MEN WILL SEARCH FOR YOU (Matthew 2:10), and Special Christmas presentations for the widows is scheduled for Sunday 22nd December 2024 beginning from 10am . Prayers for the congregation and Choir special renditions brings the service to a closed.
