A child of Destiny
This was the message Preached on Sunday by Rev. Prophet Dr. S. V. O Okpere during the annual Teenagers and Children’s harvest thanksgiving at the headquarters of Deliverance Holy mission Int’L Inc. Benin City. Addressing the congregation, he enjoined believers in Christ to train up their Children in the way of the Lord and groom them on how to go with sincerity of hearts till they are above teenagers, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. Noting that, Destiny is not Conferred on any Man but is the Choice of whoever that wants to be a reference point in his or her generation.
The Prophet said, it pays to remain faithful to God. He admonished the congregation to understand that, the judgment and the wrath of God is upon disobedient People and all nations that neglect God just at it was during the time of the Biblical Noah. Prophet Sunday Okpere who Supported his assertion with the scripture took in Genesis 6:1-8, 1st Samuel 2:12-21, and Matthew 18:1–6, noted that with the performance of the Children since on Friday till this morning, shows that, Children has no problem when they are groom in the knowledge of God, and said, the real Problem has been lacked of proper parental control. And noted that, if our children are well handled and guided, they will become our preferred DESTINY CHILDREN. The Cleric concludes that, those whose hearts are right with God will enjoy His Favour.
Highlights of the service includes: Prophetic declarations for peace and the will of God to manifest in our Nation Nigeria. Children Cultural display with drama presentation, all the children and their families danced to the Altar with their harvest Special thanksgiving. Teenagers/Children combine Choristers special renditions brings the service to a closed.
