Text: Ephesians 1:3-14
Attention: All Sufficient Grace
2Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.
Brethren, last Sunday’s lesson made bare the fact that no one has power of his own that except God be with you, you can do nothing. Let us see what the second part of the lesson has for us. Study 1Chronicles 29:11, 12; Psalm 75:4-6
Paul has this to say again. Read Ephesians 2:7-10. He stressed further that in ages to come, He would continue to show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness towards us through Christ Jesus. This surpasses all worries and troubles of this world. One day of favour is far better than many years of labour. There are treasures the world cannot find. They are all in this grace. The grace of God we are talking about does not only give you forgiveness of sins, but much more than that.it is the all sufficient. Exercising this grace that makes you great in all you do. In Genesis 45:4-8, Joseph became in charge after he had made himself known to his brethren. Now the Lord has moved him to the second half of his life. When his brethren sold him to Potiphar as a slave, just to go and die, little did they realize that he would be what God destined for him. Later at the Potiphar’s house, he went to prison. No matter his levels at those thirteen years of his first half, he laughed at last.
Brethren, let me tell you, I don’t know what you have suffered from your birth that got you confused and said ‘’God where are you”. The enemies mocked at you and you queried God and said “I have prayed, fasted, done all I was told to do in the church, sown good seed in various places, did deliverance many times”. Now I have good news for you. The first half is over and God will give you a memorable second half which will be sweeter in Jesus name – Amen!
In December 2013 till about March 2014, it was again my first half. You will hear a knock on your door like Joseph in Genesis 41:13-46 telling you to get ready Pharaoh is looking for you! Therefore, I declare to all my readers of this lesson, the telephone call that will change your life is on the way now. It will be a dream unto you (Psalm 126:1-6) when the Lord shall turn away your captivity has come. Joseph saw himself out the prison to palace of Pharaoh to take charge of the affairs of the strange land. Now his brethren met him in Egypt, and couldn’t recognize him. Read again Genesis 45:4-15.
Beloved, your enemies shall not meet you where they left you in Jesus name. Many of you don’t know that the riches of God grace is in action. Read it very keenly. Joseph invited his brethren. You will live to testify in Jesus name. Listen, some people see themselves in such trails and die in it. They are astonished with shock. These have been my experiences since my birth. It doesn’t matter what you have suffered, same mouth with which they have mocked you, will praise God for your life (Psalm 126:2, 3)
Joseph cautioned them, not to be angry with themselves. You share you victory in Jesus name. He told them “come near me”. Never have you doubted about this. Just as God did for me in April through June 15th 2014, same will happen to you in Jesus name. Your testimonies are already on the way. There is a difference between the offering a thousand naira and what you hold to offer. Ensure the tithe you are about to bring today is the correct tithe of 10%. Thank you.
